STAR SERVICES

Our STAR program (Specialized Treatment Addiction Recovery) provides comprehensive, evidence-based practices, and services to parolees and other offenders released from correctional institutions during their transition back into society in order to support a successful reentry in hopes to reduce recidivism.

Must be approved by state, probation or parole.

STAR Services include, but are not limited to:

· Substance Use Disorder Treatment

· Detoxification Referrals

· Assistance with Enrollment to Health Care Services

· General Health Education Services

· Motivational Incentives

· Anger Management & Domestic Violence

· Individual, Family, and Group Counseling

· Reducing Criminal Thinking

· Life Skills Resources & Programs

· Community and Family Reunification Services

· Employment and Educational Services, and Referrals

· Faith-Based & Strength Based Services

· Recovery and Reentry Housing

· Parenting Classes

LOCATION

STAR community-based services are available in most counties throughout the state of New York City and Northern New Jersey. Parolees in counties lacking START service locations may be considered for remote tele-health services.
